2 Day Cocktail Course


This 2 day course is the perfect way to kickstart your career in cocktail making.

This course provides a grounding in the basic principles behind mixology and cocktail making.

The course is broken down into 4 modules;


1. Introduction to Mixology – history, glassware, equipment & garnish
2. Practical Workshop – learn how to build, shake & stir cocktails correctly
3. Homemade Products – learn how to prepare products such as syrups, foams & cordials
4. Cocktail Tasting – taste up to 20 different classic & modern cocktails (leave the car at home!)

Ideally suited for those already working in the industry who want to shake up their CVs and advance their careers, or amateur enthusiasts who want to up their dinner party game.

Richard LindenOwner/Head Instructor

Leaving his native Sweden, Richard has travelled the world in pursuit of bar and hospitality expertise. From the UK, where he spent five years in the Chewton Glen five star resort that is consistently voted in the top hotels in the world, to Thailand where he worked as the Head Instructor at the European Bartender  School. On these shores, Richard trained for three years under our celebrity hotelier Francis Brennan at The Park Hotel Kenmare, as well as being restaurant and bar manager at the Michelin Star Cliff House Hotel.

Ronan Rogerson
Owner / Tequila Master

When he is not serving up tequila wisdom, Ronan can be found in Drury Building, a popular Dublin haunt that he owns and runs. In his past life Ronan set up the market leading events company All Bar None Events, worked as a Brand Ambassador for Patron Tequila, was the on-trade trainer for Brinkman Beverages and was bar manager at The Morgan Hotel, one of the first internationally awarded cocktail bars in Ireland.

Hugo Byrne
Assistant Instructor

Hugo has worked the Dublin restaurant and bar scene for seven years. When he is not frequenting Dublin’s latest hot spot, Hugo winters in the Alps, shaking and stirring at the most exclusive apres-ski bars.

Lorcan Pratt
Assistant Instructor

A product of of the Dublin Bar Academy, Lorcan was a student on our very first course in 2012. Having spent five years working in traditional pubs around the city, Lorcan worked in Fade Street Social before joining our team in 2015. At weekends, he can be found mixing it up in Opium on Camden Street.
